ISTANBUL - Albania's Minister of Culture & Tourism Ylli Pango called on Turkish businessmen to invest in his country.
Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey organized "Tourism Business Forum" in Istanbul on Friday attended by Turkish Minister of Culture & Tourism Ertugrul Gunay and Pango.
Speaking in the forum, Pango said one million foreign tourists visited Albania in 2007 and they were working to boost the tourism sector. "We expect Turkish businessmen to invest in Albania," he said.
Ibrahim Aksoy, chairman of Turkish-Albanian Business Council, said trade volume between Turkey and Albania amounted to 318 million USD last year and both countries should exert efforts to boost this figure.
