ISTANBUL - Istanbul is set to host an international symposium on local administrations which would gather officials from major cities in five continents, an Istanbul provincial leader of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party said on Friday.
The two-day symposium, which begins on Saturday, will handle "new challenges and solution proposals," and share of expertise and cooperation in local administrations.
Budapest, Kolkata, Brooklyn, Aleppo, Tallinn, Sofia, Amman, Cracow, Cape Town, Houston, Wiesbaden, Dublin, Melbourne, Singapore, Pusan, Vienna, Naples, Rabat, Cologne, Thessaloniki, Lisbon, Komotini and Odessa are among cities to participate at the symposium.
