Greek Pianist To Meet Turkish Audience

ANKARA - Greek classical pianist Dimitris Sgouros will give a concert in Turkish capital Ankara on Saturday.
The concert will take place at Bilkent Concert Hall within the scope of 25th International Ankara Music Festival. Sgouros will perform Sergei Prokofiev's piano concerto no.3 with Bilkent Symphony Orchestra.
Highly acclaimed in the world of classical music, Sgouros has performed in major concert halls throughout the world including Carnegie Hall, Royal Festival Hall (London), Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Sydney Opera House, Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Athens).
Dimitris Sgouros is scheduled to perform Rachmaninoff's piano concerto no.3 with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra at 2008 Beijing Olympics cultural celebrations.
