12th 10,000m European Cup To Be Run In Istanbul On Saturday

ISTANBUL - 12th "European Cup 10,000m" will be run Saturday in Istanbul.
The Enka Stadium in Istanbul is set to host the 12th European Cup 10,000m, with 34 men and 29 women from 21 countries lined up to compete.
4 athletes in women's: Elvan Abeylegesse, Bahar Dogan, Turkan Erismis and Sultan Haydar and 6 athletes in men's categories: Sabri Kara, Kemal Koyuncu, Selim Bayrak, Fatih Bilgic, Mugdat Ozturk and Ali Topkara will represent Turkey in the event, which will be like a qualifying round for the Beijing Olympics.
Elvan Abeylegesse, the winner of the previous two cups in Antalya and Italian city of Ferrara, will try to defend her title.
