NABLUS, West Bank, July 17 (AFP) - A 21-year-old Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli soldiers in the northern West Bank city of Nablus' Balata refugee camp Saturday, Palestinian security sources said.
Yasser Tantawi was killed when troops opened fire at a group of Palestinians throwing stones at a unit which had staged an incursion into the refugee camp, the sources added.
The latest death brought the overall toll since the September 2000 start of the Palestinian intifada, or uprising, to 4,181, including 3,184 Palestinians and 926 Israelis, according to an AFP count.
