JENIN, West Bank, July 17 (AFP) - The appointment of Yasser Arafat's nephew as the new head of the Palestinian general security service would lead to internecine conflict, an armed group loyal to the veteran leader said Saturday.
"We announce our complete rejection of the appointment of this symbol of corruption, Musa Arafat, as the director of general security," the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said in a statement.
"This appointment is a dangerous sign and opens the door very wide to dangerous results and ... will lead to internal conflict."
