De Palacio Hold Talks At Turkish Parliament

ANKARA - European Commission Vice President Loyola de Palacio held talks at the Turkish parliament on Friday.
De Palacio met Parliamentary Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission Chairman Soner Aksoy and Parliamentary Public Works, Housing, Transportation and Tourism Commission Chairman Adem Basturk.
During the meetings, several cooperation areas between Turkey and the European Union (EU), including energy, were discussed.
Later, de Palacio met Parliamentary EU Adjustment Commission Deputy Chairman Omer Inan, and eulogized Turkey's efforts in its EU membership process.
