ANKARA - U.S. State Department Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Laura Kennedy will visit Ankara.
Sources said on Friday that Kennedy who replaced Lynn Pascoe is expected to arrive in Ankara on July 20 and hold meetings in the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and General Staff.
Following her meetings in Ankara, Kennedy will proceed to Cyprus on July 21 to meet Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Greek Cypriot administration officials.
Bilateral relations, Cyprus, Iraq, fight against terrorism and relations between Turkey and the European Union are expected to be discussed during her meetings in Ankara.
