Turkish Super League To Kick-off On August 6

ISTANBUL - The Turkish Super League 2004-2005 season will kick off on August 6, 2004.
Fixtures for the Day 1 between August 6 and 8:

Denizlispor v Gaziantepspor
Malatyaspor v Besiktas
Akcababat Sebatspor v Buyuksehir Belediyesi Ankaraspor
Genclerbirligi v Sakaryaspor
Kayserispor v Trabzonspor
Istanbulspor v Diyarbakirspor
Samsunspor v MKE Ankaragucu
Caykur Rizespor v Fenerbahce
Galatasaray v Konyaspor

The first half of the new season will end on December 19, 2004 and second half will start on January 28, 2005.
The 2004-2005 soccer season will end on May 29, 2005.
Fenerbahce clinched the championship and Trabzonspor finished second. Fenerbahce already secured a place in the Champions League while Trabzonspor will play qualifying matches.
Besiktas who finished third and Genclerbirligi who won the Turkish Cup will play in the UEFA Cup.
