ANKARA - State Minister Mehmet Simsek and an accompanying delegation are expected to travel to the U.S. on April 10th to participate in the IMF Spring meetings in Washington.
Simsek is set to participate at the meetings of International Monetary and Financial Committee and Development Committee.
Turkish minister is also scheduled to meet IMF Managing-Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn and World Bank President Robert Zoellick as well as other officials from the fund and the bank.
Simsek`s meetings with the IMF officials are expected to address a new agreement with the fund as Turkey`s current 19th stand-by agreement expires as of May 10th.
