Turkish Ministers In Paris To Promote Izmir's Expo 2015 Candidacy

PARIS - Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin and Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul attended a dinner on Saturday in Paris hosted by Izmir Municipality for members of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) to promote Izmir`s candidacy to host EXPO 2015.
Leader of Turkey`s main opposition Republican People`s Party (CHP) Deniz Baykal also attended the dinner at Ritz Hotel in Paris.
BIE delegates are set to decide in a voting on Monday on which of the two candidates, Izmir and Milan, will host the world exhibition event. Izmir and Milan delegates will make a presentation before the voting.
