ISTANBUL - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday there were currently attempts to create a political crisis, however the ruling party resisted strongly against such attempts.
Erdogan, who returned from a tour including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania and Bulgaria, replied to questions of reporters upon his arrival at Istanbul`s Ataturk Airport.
Upon a question, Erdogan said he did not believe there is a political crisis in Turkey.
"There will always be a clash of opinions in a democracy," he said.
Commenting on the recent closure case filed against Justice and Development (AK) Party as well, Erdogan said the Constitutional Court would definitely take the most appropriate decision on the issue.
