Wilton Park" Conference To Be Held With Cooperation Of British Foreign And Commonwealth Office

ANKARA - The "Wilton Park" Conference under the title "Turkey`s Accession Process to the European Union" will take place in Istanbul between April 1st and 3rd with the cooperation of Turkish MFA and British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Turkish Secretary General for EU Affairs (EUSG) Mustafa Oguz Demiralp and British Minister of State for Europe Jim Murphy will deliver speeches on April 1st.
Turkish FM Ali Babacan will deliver a speech on Turkey-EU relations over luncheon.
According to the Turkish MFA, press corps will be able to listen to the speeches. However, no journalist will be able to ask questions as question-answer session will be closed to the press.
Wilton Park is a conference center established in 1946 as part of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Wilton Park is one of the world`s leading centers for the discussion of international issues. It holds over 50 conferences each year.
