Slovenian Honorary Consulate Opens In Antalya

ANTALYA - Slovenian Honorary Consulate was inaugurated in Turkish southern province of Antalya on Friday.
Antalyaspor Club Chairman Sedat Peker has become the Slovenia`s Honorary Consul to Antalya.
Slovenian Ambassador in Ankara Mitja Strukelj, Antalya Deputy Governor Huseyin Demirciler and Russian Consul in Antalya Mirjalol Husanov attended the inauguration ceremony.
Strukelj said that Slovenia is a small but economically effective country.
Noting that many Slovenian tourists visit Antalya, Strukelj said that they will try to develop the cooperation between Turkey and Slovenia in other areas, besides tourism, through the new honorary consulate.
Slovenia`s Honorary Consulate will also serve as an office for southern provinces of Burdur and Isparta and western province of Mugla.
