Northern Cyprus P.M. Visits Lokmaci Border Crossing

LEFKOSA - PM Ferdi Sabit Soyer of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) visited Lokmaci border crossing on Friday.
Soyer and Gen. Mehmet Eroz, the commander of TRNC Security Forces, monitored the initiatives launched for security of civilians at the Lokmaci border crossing.
On March 21st, TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat and Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias decided to open the Lokmaci border gate for mutual crossings.
"The Lokmaci barricade, which is a symbol of Cyprus clashes, is being demolished," Soyer told reporters.
Soyer also said TRNC is for a solution of Cyprus problem within the scope of two equal founder states and under UN parameters.
