ANTALYA - Rate of occupancy at the hotels in southern province of Antalya rose 20 percent after the start of Easter holiday.
Ahmet Barut, executive board president of the Turkish Hotels Federation (TUROFED), told A.A correspondent on Friday that, "we have very big expectations from the new season. Tourists from Central Europe, Spain, Switzerland and Austria, attending tours for the Easter holiday booked rooms in hotels in Antalya."
"We also expect tourists from east European countries to visit Turkey because Turkey is more attractive in terms of quality and prices when compared to other countries," Barut indicated.
