Turkish Air Forces To Participate At Italian Military Exercise

ANKARA - Turkish fighter jets and air forces personnel are set to participate at a military exercise in Italy, said a statement from Turkish Air Forces Command on Thursday.
Five Turkish F-16s and 51 personnel from 142th Squadron will participate at Spring Flag 2008 on April 3-18 at Decimomannu Air Base, Italy, alongside U.S., German, French, Spanish, and Greek forces.
The exercise aims at "developing the ability to carry out international missions," the statement said.
