Turkey To Provide Donation Of 50 Million Usd To Africa

ANKARA - Turkey has made a decision to provide a donation of 50 million USD to Africa.
Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA) will distribute 50 million USD to African nations in the next five years as aid to be utilized in the fields of health, education and economic development.
Turkey provided aid worth 700 million USD to developing countries in 2006.
Turkey was admitted into the African Union as an observer in 2005.
