MANNHEIM (CIHAN) - Fenerbahçe's German coach Christoph Daum said on Wednesday he had not received any offer from the German Football Federation to take over the coaching of the German National Football Team.
Daum told a post-match press conference in Germany on Wednesday that he did not want to engage in these kinds of speculation any more. "Turkey is my second homeland. I am now the coach of Fenerbahce."

Christoph Daum, who led VfB Stuttgart to the Bundesliga title in 1992, has been linked with the German National Football team following the resignation of former coach Rudi Voeller. His name emerged as the first candidate to succeed Voeller after Germany's first round exit from Euro 2004 last month.
Former Bayern Leverkusen coach Daum said that the new coach of Germany should rejuvenate the German team - " It is not important whether he is foreign or German."
Germany's influential football pundit Franz Beckenbauer yesterday hinted that Germany could hire its first foreign national team coach in the place of Rudi Voeller.
Daum, in speaking of Fenerbahçe, said that the newly signed left-footed players Fabiano, Alex and Murat Hacýoðlu would make a great contribution to the club.
Daum led Fenerbahce to the Turkish Premier championship this season. The Yellow Canaries will now compete in the UEFA champions league.
Former Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has rejected an offer from the German football Association to take over the German National Football Team. Daum was set to take over the German national team in 2000 but was rejected when he tested positive for cocaine.
