ANKARA - A meeting on "Turkey-EU Relations" jointly organized by Turkish Parliamentary Committee for Adjustment to European Union (EU) and British NGO LINKS in association with the British Embassy and Turkish Democracy Foundation will take place in southeastern province of Gaziantep between March 28th and 29th, 2008.
Turkish State Minister Mehmet Simsek will deliver a keynote speech at the opening of the meeting bearing the title of "Southeastern Anatolia and European Union".
Gaziantep Governor Suleyman Kamci and Turkish Parliamentary Committee for Adjustment to EU chairman Yasar Yakis will also take the floor at the meeting.
On the other hand, five workshops will be organized on role of municipalities in Turkey`s EU membership, media, academies and NGOs, business world as well as youngsters.
Reports pertaining to workshops will be submitted on March 29th and meeting on "Southeastern Anatolia and European Union" will take place.
