Number Of Flights Increased Between Turkey And Singapore

ANKARA - The number of flights between Turkey and Singapore was increased from 4 to 8 per week.
According to a recently signed agreement between Turkish Transportation Ministry`s Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Singapore`s Civil Aviation Authority, the number of flights between the two countries will be increased and more Singaporean airline companies will be able to conduct flights to Turkey.
While 8 flights will be conducted from Singapore to Turkey each week, 6 flights will be conducted from Istanbul to Singapore, officials said on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Ali Ariduru, director general for Civil Aviation, said bilateral talks with various countries were underway in order to increase the number of international flights.
Prior to the agreement signed with Singapore, Turkish officials held talks with their Syrian, Sri Lankan, Austrian and Krygyz counterparts as well, Ariduru said.
