European Commission Vice President De Palacio Meets Transportation Minister Yildirim

ANKARA - European Commission Vice President Loyola de Palacio met on Thursday Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim.
Yildirim told reporters that they would brief de Palacio on transportation in the meeting.
De Palacio noted that Yildirim and she would discuss sea transportation and aviation sector.
Stressing that tube passage foreseen to be built under sea in Istanbul strait was a very important project binding two continents, de Palacio said that they would take up other projects and issues on starting negotiations concerning joint aviation region in the meeting.
