ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank rose by 538 million U.S. dollars between July 2nd and 9th, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves, which were 33,111 million U.S. dollars on July 2nd, rose to 33,649 million U.S. dollars on July 9th.
On the other hand, the total of foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations rose by 681 million U.S. dollars, from 13,191 million U.S. dollars to 13,872 million U.S. dollars between June 18th and 25th.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations climbed 715 million U.S. dollars from 47,112 million U.S. dollars to 47,827 million U.S. dollars between June 18th and June 25th.
