Izmir Mayor To Meet Representatives Of 51 Countries

IZMIR - Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoglu will meet delegates and ambassadors of 51 countries prior to the voting in Paris on March 31st to elect the host city (Turkey`s Izmir or Italy`s Milan) of EXPO 2015.
Kocaoglu will meet ambassadors from six countries as well as delegates of Bureau of International Exhibitions (BIE) over dinner on Wednesday in Paris.
Kocaoglu will ask support for Izmir`s candidacy during meetings with delegates and ambassadors of 51 Latin, Far Eastern, Islamic countries and Turkic republics till March 31st.
He will also host a reception for Izmir in Paris on March 29th.
