LONDON - Turkish Justice Minister Cemil Cicek, who is currently in London on an official visit, met on Wednesday Lord Falconer, British Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs and Lord Chancellor.
After the meeting lasted for about one hour, Cicek who replied to a question on Turkish court's decision ordering retrial of former deputies of outlawed Democracy Party (DEP), said that it was continuation of a normal process.
''Their release did not mean end of the case. Concerned department of Supreme Court of Appeals made a decision on their release, but the case was continuing,'' he stated and added that the court would resume the case.
On the other hand, Cicek will visit some prisons in London the same day.
Justice Minister Cicek will hold a press conference and return to Turkey on Thursday.
