AMSTERDAM - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan arrived in the Netherlands early on Wednesday on a formal working trip.
Babacan, who will begin his talks later on Wednesday, will meet Dutch FM Maxime Verhagen. The two foreign ministers are expected to discuss Turkey's EU membership bid and regional and international matters as well as bilateral relations.
FM Babacan and his Dutch counterpart will sign a memorandum of understanding on enhancement of bilateral relations, and open Turkey-Netherlands Conference within the framework of the memorandum.
Babacan will also meet economic affairs, justice and European affairs ministers of the Netherlands, and deliver speeches in the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers and Leiden University.
