NEW YORK - TV program "Turkish Hour" which promotes Turkey will be broadcast across the United States as of the end of March.
Director Selcuk Oksuzoglu and producer Serdar Acar of the program told AA that "Turkish Hour" has been broadcast in the United States for three years and it draws very much interest. They said that the program will be broadcast on Colors TV as of March 31st thus it will reach 50 million people across the country.
"Turkish Hour" was started to be broadcast on local MNN channel in Manhattan in 2005 for 30 minutes in English. After five months, the program was transferred to RNN channel and reached 25 million people thanks to initiatives of Turkish Culture & Tourism Ministry.
The program introduces Turkish culture, history and cuisine as well as it shows interviews with U.S. citizens who visited and admired Turkey. Information about the program can be found in "www.turkishhour.com" web-site.
