ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister & Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan left for the Netherlands on Tuesday.
Babacan will pay a visit to that country upon an invitation by Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen.
During his talks, Babacan will discuss bilateral relations, Turkey`s EU membership negotiations as well as recent regional and international matters.
Babacan and Verhagen will sign a memorandum of understanding on enhancement of bilateral relations at the Castle of Wittenburg, and open a Turkey-Netherlands Conference within the framework of the memorandum.
Babacan will also meet economic affairs, justice and European affairs ministers of the Netherlands, and deliver speeches in the Confederation of Netherlands Industry & Employers as well as Leiden University.
