Chief Of Turkish General Staff Due To Northern Cyprus

LEFKOSA - Chief of Turkish General Staff Gen. Yasar Buyukanit will travel to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Wednesday upon the invitation of President Mehmet Ali Talat of TRNC.
Buyukanit, who will first be received by Talat on Wednesday, will hold talks with Parliament Speaker Fatma Ekenoglu and Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer later on.
Gen. Buyukanit is expected to meet former President Rauf Denktas of TRNC and Turkish Ambassador to TRNC Turkekul Kurttekin as well.
Buyukanit is expected to return to Turkey on Saturday.
