ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan will leave for the Netherlands on Tuesday evening upon an invitation of his Dutch counterpart Maxime Verhagen.
Babacan will discuss bilateral relations, Turkey`s EU membership negotiations and regional and international issues during his stay in the Netherlands till Thursday.
The two foreign ministers will sign a memorandum of understanding on enhancement of bilateral relations at the Castle of Wittenburg, and open a Turkey-Netherlands Conference within the framework of the memorandum.
Babacan will also meet economic affairs, justice and European affairs ministers of the Netherlands, and deliver speeches in the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers and Leiden University.
