Moeller Bids Farewell To Northern Cyprus President Talat

LEFKOSA - Mehmet Ali Talat, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), said Tuesday he is hopeful for a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus issue.
UN Special Envoy to Cyprus Michael Moeller bade farewell to Talat on Tuesday after completing two years of mission in Cyprus.
Moeller thanked Talat for the cooperation displayed.
"I am hopeful for an agreement among the two sides in Cyprus. I am leaving Cyprus as a happy man," Moeller noted.
Talat wished Moeller a successful future. "Our friendship will always continue," Talat told.
