ANKARA - Representatives of 17 NATO members including Turkey and Russia gathered at a NATO Parliamentary Assembly meeting in Turkish capital on Tuesday under the banner "the Civil Dimension of NATO Defense."
Turkish State Minister and Deputy Premier Cemil Cicek chaired the meeting where terrorism, drugs and arms trafficking, and human smuggling were discussed.
Head of assembly's Turkish group, Vahit Erdem, cited Cicek as telling the meeting that Europe failed to sufficiently cooperate with Turkey against terrorism, and that supporters of the terrorist organization moved freely in Europe.
Erdem said Secretariat General of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is set to prepare a report about NATO delegation's visit in Turkey.
The NATO delegation also paid a visit to Ali Bardakoglu, head of the Religious Affairs.
