Turkmen President Berdimuhamedow Proceeds To Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan, proceeded from Ankara to Istanbul on Tuesday.
Turkish State Minister Mehmet Simsek, Deputy Governor of Istanbul Fikret Kasapoglu and Mayor of Istanbul Kadir Topbas welcomed Berdimuhamedow at the Ataturk Airport.
Turkmen students studying in universities in Istanbul were also present at the Ataturk Airport to welcome Berdimuhamedow.
After having arrived at the State Residence, Berdimuhamedow watched the performance of a Turkmen Folk Dances Group.
Berdimuhamedow later proceeded to downtown Istanbul.
