ISTANBUL (CIHAN) - The Istanbul Auto Show which started in 1993 will now be included in the calendar of world auto fairs. Other fairs include Detroit, Paris, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Geneva.
The International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers recently decided to add the Istanbul Auto Show to its listing of international shows. The Istanbul Auto Show will be included as of 2006.
Some car models will be shown for the first time at the Istanbul show as of 2006. In addition, Turkey aims to increase the number of visitors from the Middle East, Caucasus and the Middle Asia to this fair.
The Istanbul Auto Show was held every year from 1993 to 2000 but will now be held bi-yearly.
