German Mountaineers At Olympos

ANTALYA - A group of German mountaineers from the city of Augsburg climbed the rocks at southern province of Antalya's Olympos region.
Speaking to AA, the Germans said that "aside from Germany, we climbed rocks in France, Spain and Italy. However, Olympos is the most attractive and touching of all locations where we have climbed."
The Germans added that they chose Olympos based on its natural atmosphere as well as Turkish hospitality.
The group has 14 members. The youngest member is 12 years old.
Olympos is a valley at the south coast of Turkey, 90 km southwest of Antalya near the Town of Kemer.
Today the site attracts tourists, not only for the artifacts that can still be found but also for its scenic landscapes supporting wild grapevines, flowering oleander, bay trees, figs and pines.
