ANKARA (CIHAN) - The Turkish Government yesterday agreed raise profits for gas station owners. Profits will increase by 1 cent in August and by 0.5 cents in October.
Coordinator of Oil-Gas Committee Ilhan Parseker yesterday issued a press statement revealing the increase.
Parseker underlined that these prices cover 5 months and prices will be based occur at market rates as of 2005.
The issue took up much of the Turkish Cabinet meeting yesterday. Gas station owners had wanted an increase of 2 cents but the Turkish Economy Administration resisted.
