Izmir To Host More Greek Tourists

IZMIR - Cesme Hoteliers` Union (CESTOB) deputy chairperson Gokce Kesikciler said Monday they aimed to host more Greek tourists in Cesme town of Turkish Aegean province of Izmir this year.
Kesikciler told AA on Monday that they were developing various projects to attract more Greek tourists in 2008.
They had held meetings with tourism agencies, and they aimed to host 20 percent more Greek tourists in 2008 compared to the previous year, Kesikciler said.
Kesikciler said there were currently 5 five-star hotels in Cesme, and it was necessary to bring the number of five-star hotels up to 15.
