European Commission Vice-president Palacio Due To Turkey

BRUSSELS - Vice-president of the European Commission and the Commissioner for Energy and Transport Loyola de Palacio will come to Turkey on Wednesday for a five-day visit.
Palacio will be in Ankara on Wednesday evening and have his first meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul on July 15.
Loyola de Palacio will meet Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim, and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hilmi Guler the same day.
De Palacio will proceed to southern Antalya province after having several other meetings in Ankara.
Loyola de Palacio is expected to leave for Istanbul on July 18 and depart from Turkey on July 19.
