Two Independent Deputies Join Ak Party

ANKARA - Two independent deputies joined the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) on Tuesday.
Atilla Basoglu, a deputy from Adana province who resigned as Republican People's Party (CHP) parliamentarian last Friday, and Necdet Budak, an independent deputy from Edirne province, joined the AK Party, increasing the number of ruling party's seats in the parliament to 369.
Most recent distribution of seats in the Turkish parliament is as follows:

Justice and Development Party (AK Party): 369
Republican People's Party (CHP) : 171
True Path Party (DYP) : 4
Independent : 6
