N Cyprus Presidential Spokesman Says Turkish Cypriot Leadership Will Work To Find A Settlement To The Division

LEFKOSA - The Turkish Cypriot side will work to find a comprehensive settlement to the Cyprus problem in the shortest time possible, Turkish Cypriot presidential spokesmen Hasan Ercakica said in a written statement on Friday.
Turkish Cypriot President Mehmet Ali Talat and Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias met earlier in the day at the island`s buffer zone and agreed to resume peace talks.
"The agreement opened a new era for the efforts to find a settlement to the Cyprus problem and the Turkish Cypriot side will work for a committed and sincere implementation of the the two leaders` agreement," Hasan Ercakica said.
