BEIJING - Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin said Friday the closure case against the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party does not affect the candidacy of Turkish western province of Izmir to host EXPO 2015.
Aydin who is currently in the People's Republic of China told Turkish journalists that closure case against AK Party may have several impacts in Turkey, but it does not cause an important affect in the world.
"When the world press is examined, it can be seen that the case does not affect big projects like EXPO," he added.
Aydin said political stability will continue in Turkey.
Aydin and accompanying delegation will meet Turks living in China at a reception which will take place at the Turkish Embassy in Beijing on Friday evening.
