TSK.'s Operation On The North Of Iraq - CHP's Motion Rejected

ANKARA - Turkish Parliamentary General Assembly rejected the general debate motion submitted by Republican People`s Party (CHP) regarding the operation which was launched by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in the north of Iraq.
TSK launched a cross-border ground operation into north of Iraq on February 21st in order to neutralize members of the terrorist organization PKK stationed in north of Iraq and to destroy organizational infrastructure in the region. On February 29th, Turkish troops returned to bases in Turkey.
