ISTANBUL - The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) of Turkey postponed Thursday the sale of media companies that belong to Erol Aksoy Group.
Earlier, the fund said it would sell rights and assets of Aksoy`s TV channels including Cine 5, Supersport, Gala TV, Viva TV and radio stations such as Radyo Tek, Radyo 5, Radyo Cool, Radyo Nostalji, Show Radyo, and Viva Radyo. It also said it would collect the final bids on March 21st, 2008.
However, TMSF decided to collect final bids on May 23rd, 2008. Therefore, the auction for Cine 5 TV, Radyo 5, Viva TV and Viva Radyo will take place on May 26th.
Supersport TV, Show Radyo and Radyo Nostalji will be auctioned on May 27th, whereas the auction for Radyo Tek, Radyo Cool and Gala TV will be on May 28th.
The bargaining for all TV and radio stations will take place on May 30th.
The auctions will be finalized after approval of the TMSF Board.
Earlier, the fund said the auctions will take place on March 24th, 25th and 26th.
