ANKARA - Nicolae Vacaroiu, the President of the Romanian Senate, will pay an official visit to Turkey between July 11th and 14th, Turkish Parliament Speaker's Office said on Saturday.
A statement of Turkish Parliament Speaker's Office said that Vacaroiu and an accompanying delegation would be the guest of Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc.
Vacaroiu will visit Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the Founder of Turkish Republic and meet Arinc on July 12th. Two parliament speakers will hold a joint press conference following their meeting.
The Romanian delegation headed by Vacaroiu will meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, State Minister Ali Babacan, Turkish Parliamentary European Union (EU) Adjustment Commission Chairman Yasar Yakis, Turkish-Romanian Friendship Group Chairman Nuri Akbulut, and Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Mehmet Dulger; and visit Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer on the same day.
Vacaroiu and accompanying delegation will visit central Nevsehir and Kayseri provinces and commercial hub Istanbul on July 13th.
The Romanian delegation will depart from Turkey on July 14th.
