State Minister Aydin In China

BEIJING - Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin, who is currently in China, said Thursday the People`s Republic of China has become an internationally important figure in many areas.
"Nothing can be carried out without China from now on," Aydin said.
Holding talks with Chinese Vice Minister for Information Industry Wang Guoqing in Beijing, Aydin said Turkey and China had always been good friends in the past.
Aydin also said Turkish and Chinese media organizations should intensify their bilateral relations.
Meanwhile, Guoqing expressed the importance of "Alliance of Civilizations" initiative and said there should be an exchange between civilizations, not clashes.
Guoqing also said China desired Aegean province of Izmir to host EXPO 2015.
