Security Forces Capture 73 Illegal Migrants In Operations Across Turkey

ANKARA - Turkish security forces caught 73 illegal migrants in operations across the country on Wednesday.
Gendarmerie forces captured six illegal migrants in Yayladagi town of southern province of Hatay, while border patrol and gendarmerie teams arrested 29 illegal migrants who wanted to sneak into Europe in Bosnakoy, Ipsala and Meric towns of northwestern province of Edirne.
On the other hand, police caught 12 illegal migrants in the Aegean coastal town of Marmaris and gendarmerie forces in the Torbali town of Aegean province of Izmir intercepted 26 illegal migrants.
The illegal migrants were of Palestinian, Georgian, Burmese, Syrian and Somali origin. They will be deported following legal proceedings.
