ANKARA - Eight authors of the German Literature will spend time in 8 provinces of Anatolia and share their impressions in newspapers and a diary that will be aired on the internet.
The 8 German authors; Sabine Kuchler, Frank Schulz, Sibylle Lewitscharoff, Petra Morschbach, Bjorn Kuhligk, Thomas Rosenlocher, Barbara Frischmuth, and Klaus Relchert began their tour of several provinces (Mersin, Ayvalik, Trabzon, Eskisehir, Kars, Diyarbakir, Istanbul, Sanliurfa) of Turkey on March 1st. They will stay in Turkey until June 30th, 2008.
A bilingual literature project titled, "Close View: Turkish-German City Authors Project 2008" will be organized is association with the Turkish Culture & Tourism Ministry, Goethe Institute of Germany & Literary Houses (Literaturhaeuser).
On the other hand 8 authors from Turkey; Sebnem Isiguzel, Roni Margulies, Jaklin Celik, Mahmut Temizyurek, Ayfer Tunc, Sema Kaygusuz, Sener Ozmen and Ozen Yula, will be hosted in Germany between September 22nd and October 19th, 2008.
