British PM Brown Attends Gala Dinner Of Labor Party Friends Of Turkey Group

LONDON - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown attended the gala dinner which was hosted by Labor Party Friends of Turkey Group in London on Tuesday.
During the dinner, members of the group lobbied for solution of Cyprus issue and Turkey`s bid to join EU.
British cabinet members listened to the views and demands of the group members.
The group members conveyed the issue of direct flights to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and asked Britain to assume a more influential stance about the issue.
Labor Party Friends of Turkey Group was established one year ago.
