LEFKOSA - Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ferdi Sabir Soyer received Tuesday Claudia Roth, co-chairperson of the Alliance `90/The Greens.
Speaking at the meeting, Soyer said "the TRNC was subjected to an unfair treatment as if it were North Korea," adding that Turkish Cypriots needed Greens` support to overcome isolations imposed on the TRNC.
"On this visit, Ms. Roth will be able to see that the TRNC is no North Korea," Soyer said.
Roth said on her part that she was "touched" with the results of the isolations which she said was affecting tourism, economic development, daily life and sports in Turkish Cyprus.
