It Is More Appropriate For Political Issues To Remain Out Of Legal Settings, Spain

MADRID - Spain`s socialist Zapatero government extended support to Turkey`s Justice and Development (AK) Party in a case submitted to the Turkish Constitutional Court for the closure of the AK Party.
In a written press release issued on Monday, the Spanish Foreign Ministry indicated that the closure case against AK Party is "not justified" and is "bothersome".
In order for respect for the separation of powers, political issues should be left out of legal settings, told the Spanish government.
Spain also reiterated its support for the political reforms in Turkey and Turkey`s wish to join the EU.
